Patient Safety Leadership Fellowship
HRET, in partnership with the American Hospital Association and the National Patient Safety Foundation, supports emerging and future leaders seeking innovative, proactive ways to make their organizations safer, and more reliable.
The Patient Safety Leadership Fellowship is a yearlong intensive learning experience that develops leadership competencies and promotes breakthroughs in safety practices through a dynamic, highly participatory, and structured learning community. For nearly a decade, the Fellowship has provided health care professionals across the country an opportunity to integrate innovative strategies into their day-to-day work and improve efforts to create cultures of safety in their organizations.
Since 2004, HRET has contributed to a collaborative network of national organizations to advance transformational approaches in patient safety and quality, including:
- American Hospital Association (AHA)
- National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF)
- Health Forum
- American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM)
- American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE)
- Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM)
