The WalkRounds^TM Database

An Access database was developed by Camilla Neppl-Huber at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston for the collection of data obtained during their WalkRounds. The database has been refined over a 3-year period and effectively used by other hospitals in the United States and the United Kingdom. The database allows information to be tracked from the time it is gathered during WalkRounds, through the assignment of contributing factors and priority scores, the identification of actions to be taken, notation when action is taken and by whom.
