Director, Research Networks
Nadine Caputo, MS is Director of Applied Network Research at HRET. She is a health services researcher and administrator with extensive experience in private and government funded health programs. In her current position at HRET, she directs the AHRQ sponsored ACTION network and the Center for Health Management Research, a network of hospitals and academic partners focused on the use of evidence informed management in health care organizations. In her previous position at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), Nadine facilitated multi-site rapid cycle research projects with health plans and academic partners and produced tools and algorithms for use by health plan partners. Prior to BCBSA, Nadine was the Director of Quality and Outcomes Research at the American Dietetic Association. She participated in key national policy committees on quality of care for NCQA and JCAHO including expert panels on HEDIS. Nadine was the Director of Evaluation and Planning for Illinois’s Peer Review Organization, overseeing quality of care evaluation studies in the Medicare and Medicaid populations. She was also a clinical researcher at First Health, a large national PPO organization. Nadine earned an M.S. in Medical Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago. She has co-authored several publications that describe her collaborative research studies.
