Evidence-Based Management
Though there is growing interest in using research evidence when making decisions about the organization, financing, and delivery of health care, this information is routinely underused. There is a wealth of accessible research and other information relevant to many managerial decisions, and the research community is eager to translate research into practice. Applying evidence to decisions does take time, but not as much as widely believed, and the skills required are easy to develop. Dr. Rundall explains evidence-based management, how to use it, and what can be gained by incorporating research evidence in decision making. Find out what you can do to prepare your organization to practice evidence-based management. This audio conference was originally presented on May 23, 2006.
